What is “Good Sams Club?”

The Good Sam Club was founded with the express purpose of providing a national support network for fellow RV travelers. Many of us joined the Good Sam Club to be a part of an organization of people with similar interests and a love of travel.

One of the best ways to meet fellow Good Sam Club members is to join a local chapter.
Good Sam Club has over 1500 local chapters in 49 states and in 9 Canadian provinces. Chapters are groups of Good Sam Club members, anywhere from 5 to 50 rigs, who enjoy traveling together, holding campouts, sharing information and common interests, and just enjoying each other’s company by experiencing the RV lifestyle together.

It’s easy to join a chapter.
Some chapters hold regular monthly campouts and some only meet a few times a year. Many are involved in charity projects, while others prefer to spend their time socializing. Some chapters consist of members from one local area; others may be a group of RVers who own a similar type of RV. And you can bet that fellow chapter members evolve into the best of friends.

Finding a chapter.
Each state and province has a volunteer Good Sam Club Director, who has the information regarding the local activities of chapters within your state or province.  If you are not able to find a chapter near you that suits your interests, contact your state or provincial director about starting your own!

One of the most important aspects of RVing is to share information with fellow RVers — so that you and others can learn from past experiences and belonging to a local chapter is the best way to share those experiences with people you enjoy.

We hope to see you at a local Good Sam Club event in the near future!
